Our UK Real Estate team has a key role to play in delivering on our sector strategy. That's why we now have more than two hundred lawyers across our nationally respected teams, with over sixteen listed as leaders in their field.
Technical excellence is no longer enough, so we've worked hard to ensure that we combine our technical skills with a genuine understanding of our clients to allow us to add real commercial value. Our lawyers work across specialist teams, drawing on their strengths to deliver commercial solutions for our clients. Our Residential team now has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join the team in Newcastle.
What does this team do?
You'll work as part of a team of lawyers and paralegals who deal with the sale, purchase and management of mixed use and residential investment portfolios, in particular, commercial landlord and tenants. The team also deals with all aspects related to equity release and retirement scheme properties.
So what does the ideal candidate look like?
You'll need strong academics, exceptional communication skills, drafting skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure. You'll also have a natural ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally.
Some previous residential property experience would be useful though this is not essential. What is essential is an enthusiasm and interest in this area of law and preference will be given to applicants able to demonstrate their passion for developing within this sector.
So what's in it for you?
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic team who will be as invested in your career development as you are. You'll be supported by a collegiate approach, a firm wide commitment to paralegal development, and mentoring and supervision by leaders in their field.
And that's not all, alongside a competitive salary you'll receive a flexible benefits package so you can pick and choose between the benefits that matter most to you.
