One of the ways in which we're responding to the market is through continued investment in our "Onshore" team; a team of solicitors, chartered legal executives, paralegals and management information specialists, capable of providing support to the wider business on a regular and ongoing basis, for discrete projects or secondment opportunities. As part of this continued investment, we're now looking for experienced property specialists to join the team in Plymouth
So what are we looking for?
As a Conveyancing Executive in this team you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of property matters for clients spanning the public and private sectors, including household names in the housing, banking, commercial investment and development, education and energy sectors. The Onshore Real Estate team deal with a range of matters which could involve you working on LPA Receiverships, residential conveyancing, plot sales, rent arrears, service charge claims, title review projects, lease reports, property searches, land registry applications, SDLT returns, deeds of surrender, licenses for works, licences to assign, notices of assignment, statutory declarations, project due diligence and managing data rooms.
But don't worry, we don't expect you to have gained experience across ALL of these activities. That's what being a team is all about, and we're keen to hear what great technical expertise you can add because we'll be looking to you to help mentor, coach and supervise some of the more junior members of the team. But it's not all about the technical skills. It's important that we offer our clients (both internal and external) the best possible client experience and we believe that comes from allowing them to build strong and meaningful relationships with their legal team, and giving them the best sound commercial advice, something you'll be more than capable of doing.
Whilst we can give you some great development opportunities, we're expecting you to already be proactive, motivated and able to manage your workload effectively and with minimal supervision. You'll certainly be highly organised, efficient and able to prioritise effectively as we often work to tight and urgent deadlines. As a client facing role, you'll need to be able to build and maintain strong relationships, recognising what matters most to our clients and delivering on their expectations consistently.
