We are looking to recruit a Secretary into our corporate/commercial team in Newcastle on a full-time basis.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an organised secretary with excellent IT skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.  We're not necessarily looking for someone with previous legal secretarial experience, but we are interested to hear from people who have worked with complex agreements/documents before.  You'll also need to be organised with a good eye for detail.

What do the corporate team do?
The corporate team have extensive experience of advising clients across a range of matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, investment funds and business taxes amongst others.  Our clients’ corporate needs span industries, sectors, continents and time zones, and our transatlantic corporate team is well-positioned to serve them.  

What will the role involve?
As mentioned above, documents play a large part of this role.  You'll also be keeping on top of multiple diaries, organising meetings, travel and accommodation as necessary.  There'll be some work around client billing, including preparation of bills and assisting with client reporting using excel spreadsheets.  You will also have responsibility for file maintenance, both electronic and paper-based.  You'll be working as part of a team of secretaries, so the ability work cohesively with other essential.
