The Team

We act for a wide domestic and international client base including developers, investors, landlords, financiers and occupiers. Our presence in many jurisdictions means that we are able to capitalize on the wave of inward investment characterising the UK market.

High profile assignments being handled by the team include the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station and London City Airport, the development of London Gateway, the sale, disposal and financing of trophy investment properties in London and elsewhere, and a leading role in the UK’s largest solar and wind power projects.

The team has experienced strong growth in its range of clients and quality of instructions and commands a highly respected profile in the industry. This is reflected by our rankings in the directories (including our tier one ranking for commercial property development, Legal 500) and the award of Real Estate Firm of the Year 2018 by Legal 500 UK.

The Role

We are looking to recruit an Associate in the Real Estate transactional team. The successful candidate will work with a variety of partners in the team but in addition to this, the role requires the candidate to quickly establish good relationships with clients as well as other areas of the firm including construction, tax and property finance.

We are looking for an associate who is keen to apply their skill set to the complex and challenging case load offered within the real estate team. The opportunity will expose the successful candidate to cutting edge and high profile transactions, international client base and all within a collegiate and vibrant team. The successful candidate will be expected to embrace the opportunity to work on transactions outside of the UK which will add to the already varied caseload.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate will have trained at a leading Real Estate team, will have gained good experience of acting on a wide range of commercial property, development and investment transactions and will have experience of acting for other important players in the Real Estate industry such as financiers and occupiers.

The candidate must be interested in business development and be willing to play a pivotal role in marketing initiatives.

Experience of renewable energy projects is an advantage. The candidate can expect as much responsibility as they require, and have shown an ability to handle, and as much support as they need.

At Norton Rose Fulbright we welcome receiving direct candidate applications via our careers page.
