An opportunity has arisen for a Secretary to join our Real Estate team in London providing support to a number of lawyers on a full time basis.

What do the Real Estate team do?

Our Real Estate teams are growing fast but just because we've grown it doesn't mean we've lost our personal touch.  It’s the quality and commerciality of our service, our industry insight and the talent and passion of our people that engages our clients and they love what we do.  It also means that our people are engaged and excited about the opportunities for growth and development in our business – there is no doubt that it's an exciting place to be.

You'll be providing support to a number of lawyers across all of our real estate teams based in our London office servicing the real estate requirements of the firm acting for national retailers, real estate investors and developers, corporates, the public sector, banks, energy and infrastructure companies, housebuilders, rural businesses, charities and private clients.

What experience do I need?

You must have a strong legal secretarial background, preferably within the property/real estate sector, with proven experience of working within a professional law firm.   Excellent IT skills and a strong team ethic are essential as you will need to be able to work closely with your team members to deliver a first class service to our clients.  You must be able to demonstrate strong audio typing skills using digital dictation, be a strong team player with a flexible attitude to work. Good communication and relationship building skills are a must, as is the ability to meet deadlines.  We use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, so experience of working with these and other bespoke legal packages is necessary.
