An exciting opportunity has arisen in our HR department for a Partner Recruitment Officer.

You will be taking overall responsibility for the following:

  • Managing new partner joiner documentation, including assisting with drafting business cases and offer documents;
  • Operating with a sense of ownership for the partner recruitment process, having an awareness of where each candidate sits within that process and being relied upon to drive forward the relevant next steps;
  • Liaising with search agencies and acting as a key point of contact for them within the firm;
  • Maintaining the search agency database internationally to ensure a central log of agreed agency terms;
  • Working closely with the Risk & Compliance function in order to ensure that conflict checks are carried out on partner candidates' clients, and following up on the results in an appropriate manner;
  • Scheduling video and face to face interviews with internal and external people based in multiple locations, and delegating to the Partner HR Assistant for assistance with the same;
  • Providing feedback to agencies and direct candidates in a timely manner;
  • Producing reports and feedback on agency performance, measuring success rates of alternative means of recruitment and monitoring costs of recruitment;
  • Managing speculative applications;
  • Assisting with the design and evolution of the firm's recruitment brand on social media platforms, including LinkedIn;
  • Operating in such a way as to support and champion the firm's efforts in relation to diversity and inclusion;
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining the data in the partner recruitment log;
  • Compiling the weekly lateral recruitment report to be sent out to managing partners;
  • Managing and co-ordinating the new partner global induction and integration process, with support from the Partner HR Assistant;
  • Acting as a team player and assisting other members of the Partner HR team with projects and other tasks, as business needs require.

The above tasks will involve regular liaison with the most senior partners and business services leaders in the firm, including Heads of Country, Heads of Practice Group and Heads of Sector, as well as members of the Board and the Executive Committee.

Ideally, you will have excellent communication skills, confidence in developing and maintaining relationships with senior people, across a number of different cultures and time zones. You will have proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and to determine when matters should appropriately be escalated to the Partner HR Manager.
