Legal Secretary - Real Estate
An opportunity has arisen for a Secretary to join our Real Estate team in Southampton. Providing cover on a maternity leave basis the role will initially be on a 6 month contract with the possibility of this being extended.

You'll be working across the Real Estate teams based in Southampton, including Operational Property, Developers and Investors and Energy and Natural Resourcing, specifically providing support to lawyers within the Operational Property team who work on a broad range of matters such as freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, relocation and exit strategies and break options and dilapidations liaibility.
What experience do I need?
You must have a strong legal secretarial background, preferably within the property/real estate sector, with proven experience of working within a professional law firm. Excellent IT skills and a strong team ethic are essential as you will need to be able to work closely with your team members to deliver a first class service to our clients. You must be able to demonstrate strong audio typing skills using digital dictation, be a strong team player with a flexible attitude to work. Good communication and relationship building skills are a must, as is the ability to meet deadlines. We use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, so experience of working with these and other bespoke legal packages is necessary.
