The Risk and Compliance team has a global and cross-functional advisory remit. Our aims are to promote a risk aware culture based on ethics and integrity and to ensure everyone is aware of and pro-actively manages risk at all levels across our business in a way that enables us to achieve our strategic and business objectives and protects our reputation.

We work closely with the Managing Partner, the Board, the Audit and Risk Committee and our dedicated risk champions across the practice groups, in our international offices and within the Business Services departments.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to provide professional, efficient and high quality support to the Compliance Team in ensuring that the department provides a quality service in all respects.

The role will be part of a busy Compliance Team which manages the on-boarding of new clients and matters.

Who we’re looking for

You will have some experience in either a compliance, professional services or legal conflicts management environment. Knowledge of Elite, the Code of Conduct and Anti-Money Laundering would be advantageous.

You will be proactive and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure whilst acting as an integral part of a diverse and multi-skilled Compliance Team. 

You must be trustworthy, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to display discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
